Chicago Cubs have the best fans in baseball because they have been selling out Wrigley Field for years without winning the whole shebang. Their fans love to watch them play baseball. Of course, there is always the hope and desire that they win and the franchise is never off the hook for passing up on a free agent, trade, prospect, etc. but there is true love somewhere in there.
Notre Dame is much the same way. I love to watch them play - the nostalgia, prestige, and athleticism is great, but it is more fun to watch them win. The latter of which they have yet to do this season.
If both teams were in last place then I'd still be in front of the TV whenever Alfonso Soriano steps up to the plate or Jimmy Clausen drops back just to get sacked for the 8th time in the game. I'll still watch every snap of Notre Dame's attempt to field a football team. Why? I love them. I'll support them even when they suck.
At least the Cubs are in 1st place (for the moment).

Wikipedia
As many of you might know, I have found my soul mate: Wikipedia. There is nothing that can match it's knowledge, willingness to learn, and speed by which it corrects itself when something is incorrect. What could be better?
The other day I was making lunch and decided to look up the nutritional value of my food, brown rice. If you click the image, you can follow what happened over the next 30 minutes...(from left to right)
That was simply the tip of the iceberg. I know there are many more memorable times to come with my love as I patiently wait.
