Water
There's something about water that just drives me nuts, in a good way. Right now I'm writing this from a huge house we rented for the a retreat on the Sea of Cortez (a.k.a. Gulf of California). Outside of the extreme humidity (that's pretty lame) it's quite nice. Next time you get a chance, find an ocean (or something like it) and sit on the beach all day. Nothing is quite like it.
On a separate note, U2 re-released remastered versions of their first 3 albums. If you are a fan of U2 and do not own any of these three, you're probably ok with the exception of "War". "War" has "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" and "New Years Day," both of which are incredible songs. I already own all 3 albums, but I will re-purchase "War" because...well...I'm a consumer.

UCYC
We (They Met In L.A.) are up at UCYC this week playing music for a group of Jr. Highers. It's pretty stinking fun because we're not "leaders" so we can do whatever we desire, so long as we play the songs fine. Here's what we did on the first night:
Yes, that's right, we pulled all the mattress' out of their respective rooms and layered them 2 (in some places, 3) high so we could all sleep together in the lobby. We're such a good family.

Click The Link, Read The Article
Like most bloggers who don't make it their life to update people with their thoughts, it's been a month or so since I've posted anything.
Sometimes my brain feels like a giant trash can that I'm searching through to find that piece of paper I wrote on...only finding it after I dig through the kitty litter, half filled sticky cans of Dr. Pepper and a plethora of Wal-Mart plastic bags.
Now that I got that out there, the reason I come to you (or rather, you come to me...) is to post an article a friend posted. I read it and found it rather interesting, especially coming from a non-American citizen. Check it out here. Let me know what you think.
