Vote for proposition 232:
When a presidential candidate purposefully misleads, lies or comes close to doing either, 3 U.S. residents get to tase the candidates. Maybe then it'll appear as if humans are running for president as opposed to selfish politicians.

My Thoughts On The Election
Part of me wants to vote for Obama.
Another part wants McCain.
Luckily I pooped both parts out.
If you really want change, vote for someone who isn't funded by millions of soulless dollars.
Here's a list of 3rd party candidates. Choose wisely.
Peace.

Disaster Has Struck
I was preparing to write an informational bit on earthworms and truss rods but disaster has struck.
Wikipedia is down - here's a screenshot it took of this travesty.

Meanwhile, the Big 10 continues to be the best athletic conference in the nation at confusing everyone because they have 11 teams.

Bail Me Out!
Lets just assume I'm a bank and I want to make money. For every $100 I loan out I make $3 profit. What do I do? loan out as much as possible. When I want more, I loan more.
The problem? I might not always have the money to back up all the loans I made, which is risky (and stupid). When many people can't pay towards their loans that takes cash flow from the banks and makes investors nervous. They want their money back but the banks loaned out too much and are in deep @#(* because they padded their pockets with money that they didn't have. They got rich for being greedy and careless and now we're supposed to bail them out?
(That explanation is over-simplistic, but gets the point across)
Who gets punished?
Who do we hold responsible?
How do we keep this from happening again?
The bailout didn't pass the first time. So did they improve it, making it better for us, the taxpayers?
Nope, they just added hundreds of millions earmarks and pork barrel spending to cater to the constituents, making it more appealing to vote for something that should be voted down. Here's a good rundown of what they amended to the bill.
If you pay attention to the race then you'll know McCain is all about going against earmarks & pork barrel spending. He voted FOR the bill! Here's an interview with McCain, asking him why he voted for something he is so against.
Again, I'm not a fan of Obama either. I just wish there was a major candidate that made sense.
I'm so glad my hope is in Jesus, not in money & politics.
